Larry DeFoor

President and CEO

Mr. DeFoor has been in the document management industry since 1977, getting his start with a local copier dealer in West Palm Beach, FL as a sales associate. Larry spent seven years with the company, during which he opened the company’s first branch in Ft. Pierce, FL. In 1984 DeFoor opened a separate copier company, serving as the firm’s President for six years.

In 1990, Larry resigned to form CopyFax in Jacksonville, FL, forming an affiliation with Ricoh to become an authorized dealer of their products. Since forming the affiliation, DeFoor has served on the Ricoh Dealer Advisory Council numerous times, and is currently the President of the Board of I.B.P.I, the copier industry’s premier buying group of independent dealers.

Mr. DeFoor has since formed two addition CopyFax-affiliated companies; CopyFax of Gainesville, formed in 1995, and CopyFax of Mid-Florida, which formed in 2000.
Larry is a native of Eastanollee, GA and has been married to his wife Deborah for over 30 years. The couple has three children. DeFoor has earned a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of Georgia.

Mark Grice

Executive Vice-President

Mr. Grice has been an invaluable member of CopyFax for over eight years, and is now responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the company. Specializing in the company’s financial operations, Mark works hand-in-hand with clients and employees to ensure the goals of the company and their partners are met.

Mark is a proud graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and is a Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+). Prior to joining CopyFax, Mark spent nine years at the University Medical Center in Jacksonville, and before that he spent two years at Barnet Bank in Gainesville, FL.  

Bill Woody

Vice-President of Sales and Marketing

Bill has over 10 years experience in the sales and marketing of the CopyFax product line. As the company’s current Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bill has the responsibility of increasing the value of CopyFax to companies of all sizes. Bill accomplishes this through the application of his sales and marketing expertise while managing the CopyFax retail sales force.

Prior to being appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bill held the positions of Territory Sales Manager and Major Account Representative for CopyFax. Mr. Woody is a proud graduate of Jacksonville University, having earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Management.

Joy Shaffer

Vice-President of Administration

Joy oversees all of the administrative duties for CopyFax, such as Human Resources, Payroll Administration, and Accounts Payables. In her 18 years of service to the company, she has touched upon all aspects of customer service, and is an invaluable member of the CopyFax team.

To supplement her hands-on experience and knowledge of the industry, Joy has taken part in many business seminars and participated in Ricoh University, giving her a complete understanding of the Ricoh product line.

Mike Makauskas

Vice-President of Service

As the Vice President of Service for CopyFax, Mike oversees the day to day operations of dispatch, service, and the parts departments. Mr. Makauskas has superior training in all Ricoh products, and has spent 13 years with the company, working as a delivery driver, warehouse manager, parts manager, and a service manager.
