Non-Fiber Packaging and Cartridge/Toner Container Recycling Programs

Non-Fiber Packaging Recycling Program

Ricoh has established a specialized program for customers that would like to recycle plastic bags, Styrofoam, or any of the other non-fiber based items used in the packaging of Ricoh, Savin, and Lanier products, when recycling is not available in their area.

Recycle Styrofoam

Please note that the customer is responsible for all shipping costs incurred when returning the above mentioned packaging materials. In addition, the customer must make their own transportation and payment arrangements with the carrier o their choice; “Freight Collect” shipments will NOT be accepted.

Ricoh will absorb the de-manufacturing costs to have Ricoh, Savin and Lanier packaging materials recycled when they are properly returned and received by Ricoh’s designated Recycling Center. To recycle any of the various items described above, simply box them up and send them to:

Ricoh Recycling
250 West North Avenue
Lombard, Illinois 60148

Ricoh Americas Corporation encourages customers to use recycling options available to them for packaging material in their locality, in order to minimize CO2 emissions.

Cartridge/Toner Container Recycling Program

NOTE: Effective immediately, the drop off location program has been replaced by the enhanced Toner container/cartridge return program.
The existing drop off locations will continue to accept items up until March 31, 2013.

How to Return Your Used Ricoh, Savin, Lanier Consumer Replaceable Items

ReturnsRicoh encourages recycling of all end-of-life equipment and supplies. Our Toner Cartridge/Container/Maintenance Kit Return Program makes it easy by simply re-using the replacement cartridge box as a return package.

Based upon the type of product(s) you possess, there are two different preparation methods used for returning consumable items:

For those cartridges that have UPS or FedEx shipping labels inside, remove the label from the box. Place the used cartridge in the box and tape the pre-paid shipping label to the outside of the package. Please utilize the return instructions on the form.

For those cartridges and maintenance kits that DO NOT have UPS or FedEX shipping labels inside the box, click the link below marked Prepaid Shipping Label and print out a pre-paid shipping label for return of the item. Once printed, tape the pre-paid shipping label to the outside of the package. Please utilize the return instructions on the form.
