CopyFax, Inc. was founded in June 1990 by Larry DeFoor as a distributor of copiers and fax machines in northeast Florida. In July 1990, CopyFax became an authorized dealer for Ricoh Corporation, a multi billion dollar manufacturer of office automation products.  The Ricoh product line includes black and white as well as full color copiers, printers, fax machines, scanners, wide format copiers, storage and retrieval systems, digital duplicators and digital cameras.

In 1993, CopyFax was awarded the prestigious Masters Club award by Ricoh Corporation and was acknowledged by Ricoh as one of the fastest growing dealer startups in Ricoh history.

By 1995, CopyFax had established a reputation as one of the top Ricoh dealers in the southeast.  CopyFax also became the “Exclusive Provider of Copiers, Fax Machines and Laser Printers” to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the NFL’s newest team.  Also in 1995, CopyFax of Gainesville, Florida was established by Scott Miller and DeFoor.

A third CopyFax company, CopyFax of Mid-Florida, was established in 2000 by Robert Doucette, John Milhollin, and DeFoor.  The CopyFax Mid-Florida office, located in Daytona Beach, Florida serves Volusia, Flagler, Orange, Lake, and Seminole counties of Florida.

Today the CopyFax companies support a loyal customer base made up of thousands of customers including many of north and central Florida’s premier companies and organizations.  The dedication to complete customer satisfaction combined with an outstanding Ricoh product line has made CopyFax the premier office automation solutions provider in the southeast.
